So we routinely screen teenagers, you know, ages 14 and above with a panoramic x-ray radiograph to see if we can catch these wisdom teeth in the formative stage where if we do it early enough, it goes a lot smoother. Everything heals faster when they’re younger. So we try to screen the patients in the practice. Within an hour, the wisdom teeth are taken out and then we watch them for recovery and they’re then driven home by their friend or family member. And we handle all of these with a good preoperative workup and postoperative follow-up.
